Rerouting is a body of acrylic line drawings based on Google Maps driving routes between San Francisco and the Mono Basin. As the ability to travel at high speeds alters perception of time and space, the hand manipulates a straight line to follow the disorienting curvatures of the highway. Acrylic rods are used for their artificiality and reflective qualities along with the materials ability to easily transform from solid to liquid like the slippages of time and space.
